Evolution of Scanners - Everything you need to know

Image
In the world of computers, the scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed or written text, a three-dimensional object, etc. representing it in a digital format. If you scan a document, you can keep a copy on your laptop or computer and have it with you at all times. Scanners also help cut down on the amount of paper that is used. You can take a picture of the document and make many copies of it to pass it around. The scanners help to speed up the process and work of the office. In addition, it enables you to keep your documents safe by converting them into a digital form so that you can save them on your computer or send them to someone else by email or text message. While the first scanners could only read 8 bits (28), then 10 bits (210), then 12 bits (212), they can now read up to 16 bits (216), or 65,000 greyscales. How a Mobile Application ease life of a Newscaster

Image
Sam was a journalist and newscaster on a radio channel. During his stay on the radio channel, he read the news via papers. There was no camera to record him and telecast the news session on television. But later on, he got a job on a television channel. There he was introduced to the teleprompter device for the first time, as he had to read the news using a teleprompter so he could maintain eye contact with the camera. Initially, he got confused because he used to read the news via papers, but now he has to face the camera and use a teleprompter to read the information.   A  teleprompter , also known as an  autocue , is a display device that prompts the person to speak with an electronic visual text of a speech or script. Using a teleprompter is similar to using  cue cards . The screen is in front of, and usually below, the  lens  of a  professional video camera,  and the words on the screen have reflected in the eyes of the  presenter  using a sheet of clear glass or another beam spli

How a Mobile Application helped a group of friends on an Adventure Trip

John is a man who is always fond of exploring new and remote locations where nature shows its original beauty. He was a photographer who visited different landscapes, such as mountains, lakes, forests, and deserts. One fine morning he gathered his friends and planned to go on an adventure trip with them in one of the most remote parts of the country, where dense forests with beautiful streams and lush green mountain hills were waiting to welcome these travelers. Per the plan, on the decided day, all these friends gathered and started their journey via a 4X4 jeep. They crossed different cities and towns, and finally, after a long but fun drive, they reached the first checkpoint of their adventure trip. They parked their vehicle and started hiking in the mountains as no car could move forward from that point. This group of friends was very excited and enjoyed it a lot during the whole hike through the thick forest and chill streams. John was leading this group, taking photographs of land

Sophia, The World's First Robot Citizen

Image
On October 25, Sophia, a delicate looking woman with doe-brown eyes and long fluttery eyelashes made international headlines. She'd just become a full citizen of Saudi Arabia -- the first robot in the world to achieve such a status. "I am very honored and proud of this unique distinction. This is historical to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with a citizenship," Sophia said, announcing her new status during the Future Investment Initiative Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Standing behind a podium as she spoke, to all effects, she presented a humanoid form -- excepting the shimmery metal cap of her head, where the hair would be on a human head. Of course, Sophia's announcement was a calculated publicity stunt to generate headlines and keep Saudi Arabia forefront in your minds when you think about innovation, especially its commitment to a post-oil era. Through a mix of tourism, tech, and infrastructure, non-oil revenue is predicted to grow from $43
